Tasting Notes

Aromas of blackcurrant, cherry, milk chocolate, cola and a hint of polished cedar lift from the glass. Fresh summer berries flow through the medium-weight palate, focused by the satiny tannins into a long finish.

Awards

Title: Halliday Australian Wine Companion Special Value Star

Description: The price on these Red Knot wines is a bit head-scratching, considering they are from a premium region and, more so, given how solid they are. This has varietal integrity – cassis, ripe mulberry, tobacco and leafy fringes – along with weight and intensity. It does the job nicely and, given the price, any minor quibbles seem churlish.
