Some may think that our resident Scot, David, has come down in the world, socially as well as geographically! Before emigrating to Australia in 2005, David worked in hospitality in some of Scotland’s finest establishments, which included serving the Queen at Holyrood Palace and Prince William regularly at the home of golf, St Andrews. After spending several years in Adelaide working in the Hyatt Hotel and then the National Wine Centre, David’s passion for wine and the wine industry prompted a move from Adelaide to McLaren Vale with his family in 2011. Now in charge of our Tasting Room, we were very happy to welcome David into the Shingleback family in 2015.
