Freight charges have been pre loaded based on the Australia Post post code system and equate to the following.

Insurance
Goods are insured to a value of $400 per case + the cost of the freight. If you require additional insurance please call cellar door for costs.

2009 Shingleback Unedited Shiraz
Deep garnet in colour. Primary aromas of blackberry and blueberry are interwoven with threads of savoury mocha and minty chocolate. From the first taste a compote of dark berry fruit and mouth-watering textural elements coat the tongue and cheeks. The obviously ripe, but vibrantly fresh berry flavours are defined by a balanced acidity and an earthy minerality.

2006 D Block Reserve Shiraz
Deep red. Primary fruit aromasof blackberry and plum are embellished with nuances of couverture chocolate, blueberry and slate-like minerality. A fresh compote of summer berries fills the mid-palate and overflows into the long finish that is complemented by finely textured French oak and hints of savoury development. A perfectly balanced and seamlessly integrated wine that expresses the essence of the vine, the time, the place and the harsh, black cracking clay over limestone soils that make up this unique corner fo the Shingleback vineyard.

2006 2006 D Block Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
Deep red. Concentrated blackberry and couverture chocolate aromas harmonise with notes of savoury black olive, bay leaf and toasted hazelnuts. The cassis ad roasted coffee flavours are elegantly framed with vanilla and cashew nuances derived from the fine-grained French oak used in maturation. A full-bodied, structured Cabernet Sauvignon that expresses the synergy of this noble variety, the terroir and my personal winemaking philosophy.

Shingleback
2010 Shingleback Chardonnay
Light straw in colour, with a hint of green. Only the best McLaren Vale free run Chardonnay is used to create this delicate and well balanced wine. Primary aromas of grapefruit, peach stone and pear are highlighted with notes of minerality and roasted nuts. Flavours of lemon, white peach and honeydew melon fill the mid-palate and linger on the long finish of this textured and full-bodied white wine. With partial barrel fermentation, the use of multiple strains of yeast and 6 months on lees in new French oak, a creamy, cashew like complexity enhances the stone fruit and citrus flavours.

Deep Magenta red. Aromas of blackcurrant, blueberry, dark chocolate and mint. The vibrant dark cherry and balckberry flavours are tempered with mouthwatering savoury and fine tannin elements, typical of Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2009 vintage.

2009 Shingleback Shiraz
Deep red with youthful purple hues. Luscious aromas of ripe strawberry and blackberry are highlighted by nuances of milk chocolate, violet and a “wet slate” minerality. The rich dark cherry and blackberry fruit mid-palate is tightly defined by the silky tannins and fresh acidity typical of the vintage. This full-bodied Shiraz has a lingering finish, enhanced with a shot of espresso like American and French oak.

Deep magenta red. Intense aromas of ripe summer blackberries and strawberries with hints of chocolate, finely turned earth and a slatey minerality. Textured tannins support the ripe berry mid-palate which is enhanced with savoury American & French oak. A sumptuous, full bodied wine with seamless integration and a long, lingering finish.

Shingleback "Black Bubbles" Sparkling Shiraz
Deep garnet in colour with vibrant magenta bubbles. Aromas of concentrated blackcurrant with hints of liquorice, spice and dark cherries. Creamy bubbles and luscious sweetness envelop the plump blackberry mid-palate, which is enhanced with hints of savoury development. The long sweet fruit finish is balanced with fine tannin and acidity.

2011 Shingleback Haycutters Sauvignon Blanc Semillon
Haycutters Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon is a partnership of districts, with fragrant Sauvignon Blanc from the Adelaide Hills being complemented by textured Semillon from McLaren Vale.
Pale straw. Enticing aromas of citrus rind, guava, lychee and roasted pine nuts lift from the glass. Fresh citrus and lemongrass flavours flow through the textured, creamy mid-palate and linger on the long, fresh finish of the wine.

2009 Shingleback Haycutters Shiraz
Deep garnet in colour. Ripe mulberry aromas are highlighted with notes of orange blossom and milk chocolate, with an undercurrent of truffley earthliness. This fresh, vibrant, medium-full bodied red wine if defined by the fine tannins from the co-fermentation of the Shiraz and Viognier skins and subtle cashew / vanilla nuances from the fine grained French and American oak. Bright berry fruit flows through the palate harmoniously blending with the savoury and mineral elements.

2011 Shingleback Haycutters Bush Vine Grenache Rose
Brilliant pomegranate pink. Lifted, perfumed aromas of rose petals and summer berries along with mouthfilling flavours of raspberries and citrus. The selection of old bush vine Grenache fruit for bright fresh flavours, combined with the winemaking techniques, has produced this complex, layered wine with a hint of residual sweetness that is also soft and balanced with a fresh acidity. Enjoy this fun Rosé chilled in its’ youth.

2009 The Gate Shiraz
Deep violet red. Intense aromas of ripe summer strawberries, blackberries and dark cherries, with nuances of milk chocolate and the perfume of heritage red roses. The mid-palate overflows with luscious blackberries and raspberries and is defined by the fine tannin structure and acidity that is the hallmark of the 2009 McLaren Vale vintage. A subtle frame of fine grained American and French oak delicately enhance both flavour and texture.
